It's really neat how the girl is dressed in this portrait. To me, she really sticks out, but also feels slightly out of place, and almost in a negative way. I don't really think the way she is posed fits with the theme, however. If both her arms were in similar positions (related to height), then I feel like it would portray that lonely feeling better. To me it seems more casual. I feel like if you chose an area that was more dense, it would help that lonely emotion, though that could interrupt the all ready beautiful lighting you've got here.
This is a really pretty piece, and it's surely a unique way of saying 'lonely'. It would be nice to see this setting again at a later time of day as well. I hope you found this critique helpful.
